I have read all the comments and reactions that trailed Radio Nigeria Commentary today on the gale of airports in the country authored by my humble self. Ordinarily, I would have maintained a dignified silence because majority of the comments are in favour of the article. But I want to address some issues raised by some of my friends who called me names.
First, that commentary is that of Radio Nigeria, and it passed through seasoned hands before broadcast. Secondly, the Engr. Felix Atume issue as presented is not true. Yes, I have never hidden my support for him because I know his capacity. He was not defeated at PDP primary election as lied by some of my friends. Engr. Atume was pressurised to step down for Prince Tarzoor and to avoid a mistake that his kinsmen would have blamed him today, the gentleman honourably stepped down. I never eyed to be spokesman to Engr. Atume. I have better aspirations in life which Engr. Atume knows.
The allegation that I demanded for rent from the gov is laughable. I have stayed in Abuja for 10 years, I have never borrowed to pay my rent, neither have I defaulted to pay as at when due. I am working and Radio Nigeria is paying me.
I have a piece of advice for my friends, if you really love yourselves, I think it is better for you to tell your pay masters to look for better jobs for you rather than insulting people on the social media. Imagine your children reading your posts, won't you be ashamed of your selves? I have tremendous respect for the Governor and I pray he succeeds, but that does not mean I will not make my opinion known if it differs from yours.
