OPEN LETTER TO DR. TERSOO KPELAI: YOUR MEDIA ASSISTANT, TYODOO LIVINUS, DELIGHTS IN MAKING MISCHIEF AGAINST PEOPLE, AND YOU USE THE POLICE TO FIGHT THE WARS HE CREATES?

Dr. Tersoo Kpelai, Commissioner of Commerce, Trade & Investment, Benue State,
Permit me to draw your attention to a salient fact.

It is common sense that he who lives in a glass house ought not be the
first to throw stones.
You are a member of the Ortom administration in ranking position, and
ordinarily you shouldn't be associated with negative publicity, except
where it becomes humanly impossible to avoid it.

But as it now you are the one who actively courts negative publicity
through the activities of a fellow who styles himself your Media
Assistant, by name Tyodoo Livinus.

This fellow is determined at all times to provoking public spats and
wars with people in the media, even where it is evidently needless to
do so.

Only this morning he posted a statement written and signed under my
name purporting same to be the decision of the leadership of the PDP
in Benue State suspending members of the party. (Attached is a
screenshot of the post).

This is libellous as I have not authored any such statement, neither
was there any such meeting as claimed in the statement.

The source they claim for the statement is one they have created using
the name of a real person to achieve their mischievous aims.

I'm drawing your attention to this on the assumption you may not be
aware of the activities of your acclaimed Media Assistant, such as may
be creating for you the negative publicity you may have been getting
and expending much goodwill and sundry resources fighting people using
the police and the law courts.

It is left to you to reign in your 'dog' and stop it from barking and
bitting people unnecessarily or be prepared to contend with the
response from those who feel injured by its activities.

You may have the powers to use the police and the law unfairly against
the enemies Tyodoo Livinus is making for you but remember, nothing
lasts forever, and that includes those powers you may presently have.

Bemgba Iortyom, Benue State Publicity Secretary of the PDP writes from Makurdi.
