DAMSA DECLARES FOR MAKURDI-SOUTH ASSEMBLY SEAT

Founder and initiator of PDP Sankera Youth Forum Makurdi, Mr. Terkura
Damsa has eventually declared his intention to represent the people of
Makurdi South at the Benue State House of Assembly come 2019.

Addressing Jechira community recently at Tyo-Mu, Barrister. Damsa said
his desire to be voted into the Benue State House of Assembly is to
among other things, legislate to ensure provision of quality
infrastructural facilities and better life for the people of the
constituency.

He regretted that, with the reasonable percent of the Ipusu population
in the Makurdi South, they are yet to enjoy their turn at the State
Assembly and urged the Ipusu people to see reason with him in
realizing the dream.

Led by Michael Ashwe, leader of Sankera elders living in Makurdi,
Barrister Damsa assured that he will continue to rely on the advice,
goodwill and the politics of a true Ipusu man to pursue his campaign
and the mandate.

"I am deeply torched by what each and every one of you is saying here.
Your words further open my eyes and I must remain a true Ipusu man in
both the spirit and otherwise. We shall do everything humanly possible
to see happiness at the end of this journey. I shall not disappoint
you and I must rely on your advice and goodwill to enable me gets
there…"

The young Barrister expressed hope in the programmes and policies of
the PDP as a party saying, the many challenges confronting the ruling
APC requires intervention of the PDP where capable hands like him
abounds to restoring the lost glory in the land.

Who reel out facts about his person appealed to the electorates to
access him personally together with other candidates that may come
behind him before casting their votes come 2019.

Born in 1976 in Tombu district area of Logo local government,
Barrister Terkura Damsa who has been living in Makurdi-South for
several decades is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello and Benue State
Universities.

A trained lawyer, Damsa combine business and politics to tackle both
social and economic problems of the people around him, the courage
that eventually led to his establishment of Extensive College at
Wurumum in Makurdi.
