STEPS ON HOW TO DISPLAY DESKTOP ICONS ON THE WINDOWS DESKTOP: (that is, if the Icons are not shown on the windows desktop)

·        Right click anywhere on the screen that is free of shortcut icons

·        Locate  Arrange Icons By

·        Locate Show Desktop Icons and click on it
