GWER SOLE ADMINISTRATOR FLAGS OFF ROAD PROJECT IN ALIADE NORTH

Sole Administrator, Gwer East Local Government Council, Comr. Benedict Achado today officially flagged off the Opening Up, Clearing and Grading of Streets in the Northern axis of Aliade town.

Recall that streets in the Southern part of Aliade town have already received a face-lift courtesy of the philanthropic gesture of Arc. Asema Achado.

However, streets in the Northern part of the town were most deplorable, with some converted to farm and refuse dump sites by nearby inhabitants while some were washed away by erosion.

Just two weeks ago, the Gwer Sole Administrator held a meeting with his management staff wherein a decision was taken to rehabilitate the streets and the contractor mobilized to site last week.

So far, the ring road has been opened up opposite BONDAP Filling Station along Makurdi- Aliade road, bursting at Mbakaren Nakpa Street along Aliade- Otukpo road with grading ongoing.

Comr. Achado charged the contractor to complete the job within specified time and standard as he would not take excuses for any delay or failure of the project.
