MY VISIT TO THE PARADISE

There is no doubt whatsoever that adventure is indeed of immense importance. My agreement to this fact is deep rooted in the fact that my visit to Obudu Mountains Resort – the paradise exposed me to series of experience enhancing events.

On a drive to Obudu Mountain Resort – the paradise, I spent an hour. That is from Adikpo. Afterwards, I learnt a lot about Obudu Mountains Resort on reaching the place of my excursion. It is situated on a relatively flat plateau on Ohie Ridge of the Sankwala Mountains of Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River State. It is at an elevation of about 5,200 feet above sea level. It is an area of idyllic tranquility; beautify scenery and breath-taking views.

To explore the beautiful scenery, I first got to Bottom Hill, the base as a starting point. Driving through was like not moving from bottom to the top, but like rolling around in a circle which the beautiful vegetation and the curved roads run through; and I actually felt deep motions of the movement.

More so, as regards climatic condition, the climate on the place is semi-temperate. There is a change in terms of altitude. I experienced a total difference in the weather condition found in Africa. The dues and clouds passed through me and I felt so cold. The natural flow of water is smoothly from a region of high concentration to a region of low concentration. The natural vegetation marveled me. “I wondered lonely as a cloud, the floats on high over vales and hills when I saw a crowd, a host of golden vegetation, beside lakes, beneath the trees, fluttering and dancing in the breeze.”

Most interestingly was the cable car experience. The cable car helps to move people from the base to the top by car fixed far in the air through cables placed on poles. It gives a scenic view while passing the extremely winding road to the top. Flying by the cable car back to the base of the mountain was fun but terrifying for the shake and movement of the cable car as rising and falling from several mountains, I viewed back to the earth I saw deep narrow from the air back to the vales of the mountains. And it was so enjoyable back to the base of the mountain.

On a final note, it is imperative to mention how great the poles, hills, mountains, houses, hotels, etcetera were. I quickly admit that the visit to the paradise – Obudu Mountains Resort had indeed geared towards satisfying my curiosity in experiencing the busy-keeping events at Obudu Mountains Resorts.
