ATTACK IN CENTRAL LONDON: DOES THE WORLD HAVE PEACE IN THE FIRST PLACE? - JOSHUA AGBO

With the recent terrorist attack in Central London yesterday, I would
like to ask a question and I urge my Muslim friends not to take
offence. I read in the Quran 5: 32, "And whoever saves one life, it is
as if he had saved mankind entirely." Framed within the religious
context, how come members of this article of faith throw lethal
weapons at people solely to destroy life?

I remember at a symposium whose theme was: "How to Maintain Peace and
Justice in the 21st Century, I asked some questions that: "Does the
world have peace in the first place?" "How do you maintain peace and
justice when men and women who, on the one hand, pray either to God or
Allah but, on the other hand, research into chemical weapons to
destroy life?" Anyway, those questions were never answered until the
end of the symposium. I also experienced a terrorist attack on my
Facebook account yesterday. This is another subject I shall talk about
after the Tuesday event at the University of Cambridge.

Nevertheless, I want to thank God for those who survived the attack.
I pray God to heal all those facing life-threatening conditions as a
result of the attack. I ask God to comfort the families of those who
lost their lives in the attack. Amen!!
