He goes by the name Guma Sokwo Mathias  popularly known as Rep C meaning REPRESENTING CHRIST. He's a native of Ozugbe In Basse Local Government of Kogi State. He's the last but not the least from a family of five.   He's a gospel artist and he does contemporary Gospel music.  He started singing at age of 10yrs and his journey into music began as a secular artist during his secondary school days and he performed in different shows to single/mime other people's Songs but in 2008, he  gave his life to Christ because the Bible Made him to understand that old things have passed away and all things are Become new to the man who is in Christ. Hence, he switched from secular to Gospel music. Professionally he started recording his own songs in 2010 and 2012 where he released his first hit single Titled "Hurrema". It's a song he did in his local Dialet .  In 2017, he released another single titled "Living God",  and Living God was a break through Song for him till date.  And this year he has come with another fresh song from the holy Spirit titled "I Praise"  and I Praise song is not just a song, but about him, knowing that the life he lives now is to the Praise of God who sent His Son to die for him . Above all, he no longer live for himself But for  God Alone. He quote "All my Life I Praise, All my Life I gave, everyday I give you all my Praise cuz I've got the reason to give Him praise".
