MEET THE YOUNG BOY WHO IS OBSESSED WITH BRINGING POSITIVE CHANGE TO HIS COMMUNITY

For the young Apeh Genesis, nothing could be more exciting and fulfilling as bringing about positive change to his community.

In a rural community faced with a plethora of social problems ranging from cultism, teenage pregnancy, poverty and a lot more, the young Genesis has chosen to become a light bearer to his community by threading on the path of a change agent.

In a bid to reduce the effects of these societal ills in his community, the young Genesis created a group of like minds which he calls the PACESETTERS, the platform periodically engage young people, parents, traditional leaders, Activists, opinion leaders and religious leaders on challenging discussions on drug abuse, cultism, pre-marital Sex, etc as it affects the youths. Also, the forum proffers solutions and recommendations to the challenges affecting them. The participants are also encouraged to play their part accordingly in order to help the forum achieve it's target aims and objectives.

The importance of the project embarked upon by Genesis is very crucial to community building, and it's necessity at a critical time where acceptable societal norms are no longer held sway cannot be overemphasized, because no community can achieve meaningful development without the meaningful contribution of the vibrant youth.

It is often said that youths of today are the leaders of tomorrow, and the first step towards repositioning the youths for purposeful  leadership is attitudinal change from negative to positive ways of living, and that is exactly what the young lad is doing, and he deserves more than just an accolade, but the desired support from all and sundry including Non governmental agencies, traditional leaders, religious leaders, opinion leaders, fellow change agents and activist so that the goal of the young boy will not be defeated.
