Genre-fluid rapper-singer CynMiah kickstarts his music rollout for the 2023 calendar year with the amusing, trending, and catchy new single titled “No Police.”
No Police by CynMiah was released on 19 May 2023, produced by Daneylaws and MIDi The Great, written by Olatunbosun “CynMiah” Jeremiah and Oghojafor “Rex” Samuel with the authority of Afeola Stephen as the song’s A&R.
In his No Police rendition, CynMiah referenced a TikTok chorus sound while elevating it to another level with a masterful rap verse that exuded a worry-free live life to the fullest aura without the daily hassle and harassment by officers of the Nigerian Police preying at checkpoints to receive their ‘rights’ or ‘stipends’ from motorists, especially the youths who happen to own vehicles.
Before the official No Police release by CynMiah, he went on a social media rollout campaign to promote the single. As of the time of writing, CynMiah’s #nopolicechallenge sound has garnered over 1.1k (TikTok) videos from various accounts in less than a week of being uploaded which goes a long way to show how widely accepted the jam is.
With No Police, CynMiah once again showed off his incredible artistry and versatility through a slick maneuvering of the heavy Amapiano production. A polished finish to a bright record.
