Akila Jonathan, the founder of Jukun Wanu Heritage and Advancement Forum
J-WHAF hails from Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. He was born on 01/12/1997 to the family of Akila Ahmadu and Martha Akila.
He attended Divine Grace Nursery and primary school Abise, Gumal Local Government Area. After acquiring his First School Leaving Certificate, he proceeded to Government Day Secondary school Koh, Adamawa State where he obtained his O'Level certificate. Due to his love for advancement in technology and ICT in specific, he took a step further in his educational pursuit by attending Yaysib computer Institute in Borno State, Maiduguri, where he obtained a certificate of Diploma in computer with Upper Credit. He is currently a student of Taraba State university Jalingo, Studying Guidance and Counseling
Jonathan is a talented Saxophonist who has performed in live Bands within Benue State, Taraba State, Nasarawa State, Borno State, And Adamawa State to mention but a few. His talent has fetched him recognition and fans base within the states aforementioned, and other states of the country.
Akila, the passionate CEO/Founder of J-WHAF, embodies a deep love for his culture and heritage. driven by a desire for peace and unity, he spearheaded the voice of Jukun Wanu Women and Interschool competition.
This initiative aims to revive the lost glory of the Jukun wanu society, empowering women to advocate for their rights and emphasizing the importance of female and Male children. Akila’s dedication is a beacon for cultural resurgence and gender equality.
