Event Summary

On December 25, 2023, at 3 PM, the Jukun Wanu Heritage Advancement Forum hosted a successful program at the Abise Town Hall in the Abinsi Guma Local Government Area of Benue State. This event featured the "Voice of Jukun Wanu Women Nigeria" and included an interschool debate among Jukun Wanu students from:

- University of Maiduguri

- Taraba State University, Jalingo

- University of Agriculture, Makurdi

- Federal University, Wukari, Taraba State

The debates concluded with Taraba State University emerging victorious against the University of Maiduguri, while the Federal University Wukari triumphed over the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

Akila Jonathan, Founder of the Jukun Wanu Heritage Advancement Forum (J-WHAF)**

Akila Jonathan is passionate about humanitarian service. On December 3, 2023, he visited the orphans at the UMCN Orphanage House in Mile Six, Jalingo. His commitment to serving humanity is evident in his efforts to uplift those in need.

Additionally, on December 1, 2024, Akila Jonathan visited the Jalingo Correctional Centre, where he had a meaningful experience with the inmates. During this visit, he encouraged them to pray and maintain hope in God, while also expressing deep concern for their well-being.

Akila Jonathan truly appreciates his family and their unwavering support for his dreams. He takes the time to express his concern for everything that affects them. Akila is especially close to his beloved sister, Agodowaku Akila Rifkatu, with whom he shares much of his pain. Agodo Akila Rifkatu has been a significant source of support in both his dreams and life.

Additionally, Agodowaku Christabel Innocent has been a wonderful sister to Akila Jonathan, encouraging him to pursue his dreams and providing consistent support. Abacha Nuhu Auta, one of his favorite brothers, shares ideas with him and has been a great support as well. His elder brother, Joseph Auta, has also motivated him to stand firm in his beliefs and to be true to himself.

Akila Jonathan's family loves and encourages him to work toward his goals. He is grateful for their support in helping him turn his dreams into reality. Akila Jonathan is an idealist.
