BSIEC ANNOUNCES RESULT OF THE JUST CONCLUDED LOCAL GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS

The Chairman, Benue State Independent Electoral Commission, Dr. John
Tor Tsuwa, today, Sunday 4th of June announced election results of the
just concluded Local Government Council Elections in the State.

The Chairman, while announcing the results at the Commission's
Headquarters stated that all the candidates of the All Progressive
Party(APC) who contested for the election were declared winners at
Wards/Local Government Levels by the Ward/Local Government Returning
Officers, and affirmed what has already be done by the Returning
Officers.

All elected candidates of the Local Government Council Elections held
yesterday are requested to come to the Commission's Headquarters
tomorrow to collect their Certificates of Returns by 12noon.
